Privacy policy

This policy explains what Pixtale Edits (edits.thepixtale.com), a product of The Pixtale Growth, collects and why. We keep it short and collect as little as we can.

Your videos

Videos you open in Pixtale Edits are read and edited inside your web browser. Exports are made on your own device. We do not upload, store or view your video files. If we add optional cloud features later, we will ask before anything is uploaded and update this policy first.

Account information

If you create an account we store your name, email address, profile picture (if you sign in with Google) and your plan. We use this only to run your account, enforce plan limits and contact you about your account.

Sign in with Google

When you choose “Continue with Google”, Google signs you in on its own page. We never see your Google password. We receive only your basic profile (name, email and picture). We do not access your Gmail, Drive, contacts or any other Google data.

Service providers

Accounts are run on Supabase (authentication and database). The website is hosted on Vercel. Payments, when available, are handled by a payment provider that receives only what it needs to charge you; we never see full card numbers.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser’s local storage for sign-in sessions and simple settings, such as your editing time as a guest. We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data.

AI features

Some AI features send short text or a few still frames from your clip to an AI provider to suggest moments or translate captions. They are optional and run only when you use them.

Your choices

You can ask us to export or delete your account data at any time by emailing support@thepixtale.com. We delete account data within 30 days of a request.

Children

Pixtale Edits is not meant for children under 13, and paid plans require you to be 18 or older or to have a parent’s permission.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell signed-in users.
